See You At the Pole™ is a student-led event. As a youth minister or adult volunteer, you can assist student leaders in some of the following ways:
“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
At other locations
Pray at the same time as the students but at other locations in the community or at home.

Help Students Lead
See You At the Pole™ is a student-led event. As a youth minister or adult volunteer, you can assist student leaders in some of the following ways:
- Student testimonies
and your enthusiasm will help create vision and
challenge students to lead the SYATP movement at their
school. Encourage them to gather a group of their peers
to work within the planning process. This does not mean
they have to be the "up-front" person, but someone has
to take leadership. Ask, "Why not you?"
- With their "planning
team," encourage students to plan how they will use the
time during SYATP on the fourth Wednesday in September.
View suggestions here, or refer to pages 15-18 in the
pull-out section of the handbook. Encourage them to
prayerfully plan ahead!
- If they have a campus
Christian club, students may make SYATP an officially
publicized club activity. This allows them access to
the school’s means of promoting club events
(bulletin boards, p.a. systems, etc.).
- Prepare youth to use evangelistic opportunities that will come through SYATP. Encourage them to ask, "Did you hear about what happened today?" They can follow up with, "Do you ever think about spiritual things?" "What would you want someone to pray about for you?" "Do you ever pray?" These questions or others can lead into opportunities for clear presentations of the gospel. Encourage them to invite students to your group’s next event.
“Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
1 Timothy 4:12
